About
Built on a salon floor, not in a vacuum.
DoWhat started at Salon Lyol in Toronto — a working salon tired of dated, on-premises software that got the most important screen, the appointment book, wrong.
Most salon software is built by software companies guessing at how a salon actually runs. The result is an appointment book that can’t sequence a color-and-cut across two providers, “AI” that’s a marketing checkbox, and pricing that either takes a cut of every booking or locks you into a year at premium rates.
We started from the floor. The appointment book had to be correct before anything else — multi-provider, multi-service, with real processing time. Then the Briefing Engine, so every stylist walks in knowing their day and every owner sees the numbers that matter. Then AI woven through, built on Anthropic’s Claude. And pricing that’s simply flat and honest.
DoWhat runs Salon Lyol today and is becoming a multi-tenant platform for salons that want the same thing: software that does what it should, so you can do what you do.
“The appointment book had to be correct before anything else. Everything good in DoWhat follows from getting the chair right.”
Want the same for your salon?
